Ingredients
8-12 ounces cold water
½ cup unsweetened coconut milk (such as So Delicious)
½ avocado, pit removed, flesh scooped
1 pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
Instructions
Add 8 ounces of water, the coconut milk, avocado and pear to a blender.
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until smooth. Turn off the blender and check for consistency. Add water as needed.
Serve immediately, in a chilled glass if possible.
A FEW NOTES: (1) This smoothie does not refrigerate well because of the avocado so drink it immediately or within a few hours (2) I used a food processor because I don't have a blender and it worked fine (3) Use a whole avocado rather than half if you want an extra creamy smoothie.
NUTRITION: According to The Detox Prescription, this smoothie is 288 calories and 18 grams of total fat per serving.
